We are a specialist firm that focuses on criminal law, traffic law and work health and safety defence.  This focus allows us to give our clients expertise and strong advocacy.

We focus on communicating well with our clients. Facing court is a very overbearing process and we understand that. Our philosophy is to communicate clearly and in a down to earth way with our clients, answer their questions and provide clear and concise advice. This is one way we can help support our clients through the process.

Our People

Chris Bennett – Principal Solicitor

Chris is a very experienced advocate.  As well as daily appearances in NSW Courts, Chris has previously practiced overseas as a barrister, conducting serious criminal trials.

Chris has a widespread background in training criminal lawyers having previously as the criminal law training coordinator for Legal Aid NSW.

More recently Chris has gained tertiary qualifications in work health and safety to enhance his skill base.

Bronwyn Chamberlain – Solicitor

Bronwyn is a full-time criminal lawyer.

Bronwyn focuses a wealth of experience in representing her clients having worked in various positions within a criminal law practice for three decades. Bronwyn appears before the Court on a daily basis, advocating for private clients and legally-aided clients in hearing, sentence, mention and duty matters. Bronwyn also appears before the District Court conducting Appeals matters and instructing in Trial and Sentence matters. Bronwyn has a commitment to the principles of social justice and utilises Government and Non-Government Services to obtain reports and achieve the best outcomes for her clients.

Kelly Bevan – Office Manager & Paralegal

Kelly has had extensive experience and worked in a legal environment for the past 23 years providing managerial and administrative support in a legal environment.  Kelly has a commitment to social justice having worked at Legal Aid resourcing Criminal Solicitors and has also resourced the Drug Court at Toronto.  Kelly enjoys providing high-level assistance to our clients and is just a phone call away to ensure any enquiries or assistance you require is immediately attended too.  Kelly’s primary focus is ensuring that our clients receive a high-level, efficient and effective service, where along-side Chris and Bronwyn, you remain supported during a difficult times.
